Day Tour to Aswan from Marsa Alam

Overview

Early in the morning you will be picked up from your hotel in Marsa Alam by our tour guide. You travel in an air-conditioned coach for approximately about 4:30 Hours (370 km) towards Aswan. On the way you will explore the Eastern Desert and also enjoy the landscape of the Nile Valley. After arriving in Aswan, you will first visit the magnificent Philae Temple , built in honor of the goddess Isis, by motorboat on Agilkia Island.  Lunch awaits you at a local restaurant. Afterwards we drive to the famous High Dam. The dam is fed by the River Nile and the reservoir forms Lake Nasser. It is one of the world’s largest embankment dams. Afterwards we drive to the Unfinished Obelisk, it is is an open-air museum within the granite quarries, where ancient Egyptian kings used to cut and transport all the Obelisks.                                                                                                                                                                                 Before saying goodbye to Aswan, enjoy walking through the amazing Aswan market. Then drive back to your hotel in Marsa Alam.

Please note: This activity ends back at the meeting point. This is a private tour/activity, only your group will participate. As per confirmed pickup time you will find our Representative for you and he will hold a sign showing our company name. The order of the visits can be changed by the tour guide.  We recommend also comfortable shoes, sunglasses and sun hat.
