Overview
DAY 1: Hurghada to Luxor and Thebes East Day Trip:
We will pick you up from your hotel in Hurghada in an air-conditioned vehicle to experience the drive, for roughly 3 and a half hours, through the impressive Eastern Desert and the Nile Valley to Luxor. After arriving in Luxor, a Professional Tour Guide will meet and accompany you.
Firstly, it begins in East Thebes, where the most famous pharaohs lived, with a visit to Karnak Temple , which is considered the largest temple complex in the entire world. After the sightseeing, enjoy a well-deserved lunch in an Egyptian restaurant.
Afterwards visit Luxor Temple in the city center. In ancient times, the Luxor Temple was connected to the Karnak temple complex by a 2.5 kilometer long avenue of sphinxes.
You will then head to your 5* hotel to charge the battery so you can enjoy the evening with a clear eye
OPTIONAL: In the evening, if you wish, you can experience the Sound and Light Show in Karnak Temple (to be booked on site). The show narrates the glorious achievements of some great Pharaohs as you listen to a magnificent and poetic description of the artistic treasures and great legacy which the Karnak temple encloses.
or experience a City Tour with a Horse-drawn Carriage through the streets of Luxor (to be booked on site).
DAY 2: Thebes-West day trip
OPTIONAL: Luxor Hot Air Balloon Ride (to be booked on site)
The second day begins after breakfast with a motorboat crossing to the west bank of the Nile.
Firstly, visit the Valley of the Kings , where the greatest pharaohs were buried. You admire the well-preserved colorful paintings and hieroglyphs on the walls. Then we continue to visit the Hatshepsut Temple . Hatshepsut was the only pharaoh to rule in ancient Egypt. Then visit the giant statues known as the Colossi of Memnon . The statues are now around 18 meters high.
Enjoy a delicious Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant.
At the end of the day, return to your hotel in Hurghada full of beautiful memories.
